In the German domestic market, DHL DHL Express Germany will increase its operating tariffs for most customers from January 2019, with an average increase of 4.9%. For heavier items and other customers, the tariffs will increase even more.

In addition to the overall average increase, price changes will vary depending on the weight of the goods, the destination, and the overall volume and growth of the customer. Due to the costly manual operations of heavy goods that cannot be handled automatically by the sorting system, DHL encourages customers to send more goods that can be processed automatically by their sorting system. Of course, large items weighing up to 300 kilograms can also be delivered, but the cost is higher than before.

For reasons of price increases, DHL Germany manager Marcus Reklin bluntly said that as operating costs increase, part of the need to be transferred to customers to ensure the best service. It is reported that DHL has invested heavily in Germany's business network and capacity building, and has increased its delivery route by 10%.

Dhl DHL will also raise the operating tariffs for major markets in Europe and Asia Pacific, with light goods and heavy goods prices rising slightly in some countries.

According to factors such as inflation, exchange rate, cost and market dynamics, DHL will increase the operating tariffs of Belgium, Denmark, Germany and Sweden by 4.9% according to the specific conditions of different countries; Spain will increase 3.9%; France's freight charges of less than 70 kg. The average increase of 4.9%, the average freight rate of more than 70 kg rose by 5.9%; Poland will also adopt a similar method, light goods tariffs rose by an average of 4.4% (less than 70 kg of TDI freight), TDI heavy goods tariffs increased by 9.1%, international The daily freight rate will be increased by 5.9%.

In the Asia-Pacific region, the region with the highest increase for light goods was India, with an average freight rate increase of 6.9%. Business tariffs in Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong will increase by an average of 4.9%. In Thailand, freight rates below 70 kg have risen an average of 4.9%, and freight charges above 70 kg have increased by an average of 5% to 10%. In Australia, freight rates below 300 kg have been raised by an average of 4.9%, and freight rates of more than 300 kg have increased by an average of 13%. In New Zealand, freight rates have increased by an average of 4.9%.

At present, DHL DHL has not announced the tariff adjustment plan for the Americas in 2019.
